Especially when it’s not just yourself who is carrying your pet and trying to keep them cool. Roadtrip – Ras Al Khaimah

A nice chill drive to the most pet-friendly emirate. From pet friendly hotels that’s great for a staycation, to dining out and a lot more – Ras Al Khaimah has a lot of pet friendly activities to offer. Pack your bags, get your car and pups ready and head on out.

Hiking – Wadi Shawka

Trekking at Shawka Dam is an hour-long drive from Dubai. The area is one of the perfect pet friendly activities for beginners to an easy trek. Several hours or a full day can be spent on the trail with your dogs, which has room for picnics and camping. Remember to, bring some extra water and treats for your doggos so they don’t get too thirsty.

Camping – RAK Glamping

Book a night of camping at the most awarded RAK Glamping, where you can opt to book one of their lodges or wooden cabins, or you can also pitch up your own tents! Your doggos will enjoy acres of enclosed areas to explore and run around, they also have a doggie pool that’s a nice way to cool off.

Swimming – Kite Beach UAQ

One of the best summer pet friendly activities for dogs is swimming, splashing and jumping into the waters. 

Kite Beach in UAQ is not only a nice place for a day out in the sun, but you can bring your pets along with you too! The entry fee is AED 25 for each dog and AED 50 for the adults – that gives you a whole day access.

Kayaking – Hatta Dam

Kayaking is great to get you and your doggos moving and having fun. Before heading on the waters, make sure your dog has a harness and a life vest. 

The vast lake formed by Hatta Dam and its surrounding mountains is a common destination for those seeking relaxation in a natural place with a new experience.
