Dog Friendly Beaches in Dubai

1- Dubai Island Beach

The new dog friendly beach is located in Dubai Islands, situated a few steps away between Centara Mirage Beach Resort Dubai and Hotel Riu Dubai.

The whole area is accessible and dog friendly with only a certain section allowed for dogs to swim on-leash. Here is a location pin to help you find it easily.

The beach is open from sunrise to sunset and offers a range and pet parents should take into consideration that the area for swimming and the beach itself is not fenced, hence it is not recommended to keep your dog off leash at any point of time. This would also help avoid any conflicts with our pets and owners.

2. Kite Beach Center, Umm Al Quwain

Yes, there is one in Dubai too, and no, they are not open to letting in those furballs for a dip! But, Kite Beach Center in Umm al Quwain (UAQ), which is located in a pet-friendly state is a trendy beachfront club offering watersports through to healthy drinks – and a place to take your pooch for a swim!

3. Kite Beach in Abu Dhabi

For a more cost-free option, located right next to Yas Island residential, Kite Beach in Abu Dhabi is a perfect spot to exercise your dog as they can run freely and swim in the sea. Sounds ideal for that weekend day trip, right?

7- RAK AWC

In the UAE, most of the public beaches does not allow dogs to dive in, unless it is on a resort property, there is a dog friendly beach in Dubai Islands and there are some pet-friendly ones you drive down a bit to emirates like Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah.
