This is a fantastic opportunity to see the incredible work done by Animals & Us and meet their amazing dogs, who are so deserving of love and companionship.
The more volunteers who attend, the more dogs get the chance to stretch their legs and enjoy some much-needed social interaction. Plus, you’ll get in some extra steps and leave with a full heart!
About Animals & Us
Founded in 2006 by Michelle Francis, Animals & Us is a non-profit animal welfare organization based in Fujairah, UAE. Michelle, a dedicated animal lover and rescuer with 15 years of experience, runs the shelter while also working full-time as a teacher.
The shelter is home to over 300 animals, with Michelle and her team also feeding more than 600 animals still living on the streets, as well as caring for a group of donkeys.
How You Can Help
Animals & Us relies solely on donations and the help of volunteers. Here are two ways you can contribute:
- Food Vouchers: Purchase food vouchers from their fully licensed pet food website using any international debit or credit card. This allows the shelter to buy the food they need at cost price. Vouchers start at only 50 dirhams.
- Amazon Wishlist: Choose items from their wishlist, such as food and cleaning products, and have them delivered directly to the shelter.
