Ras Al Khaimah is Your Pet-Friendly Emirate

The emirate has launched a whole new campaign to make it pet-friendly for tourists and residents to enjoy. With over 25 hotels, restaurants, pet-friendly festivals, outdoor parks and beaches in the Emirate for the ‘Ras Al-K9’ campaign.

“We understand how hard it can be to leave a beloved pet at home while on holiday so we made it as easy as possible for guests to bring their pawsome family members with them. Ras Al-K9 is a community initiative, tapping into the Emirate’s affinity for dogs and providing hassle-free options to explore, engage and stay in Ras Al Khaimah.” Said Raki Phillips, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA).

Ras Al Khaimah will also be hosting its first pet festival – Paws by the Beach on February 26 and 27 at Marjan Island, which is designed provide more information and raise animal welfare. There will also be competitions and entertainment for pets and pet owners.
