Lucky was Saved after Getting Shot Multiple Times
What ever happened to a dog being a man’s best friend? It’s just sad when pets that are supposed to be showered with love are being shot multiple time or being left out in the heat and being abandoned.
A dog that was found in the premises of a cafeteria in Al Dhaid was spotted, wherein the passerby gave the dog some milk and contacted Stray Dogs Centre and waited until the rescue team arrived.
It took a long 3 hours for the dog that the shelter has named “Lucky” to be brought to a vet and treated. A plea for blood donors was also shared and animal lovers rushed from Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah to donate blood to the Saluki.
Dogs are living beings too, just like us. They should be shown compassion and not cruelty! If you have witnessed any acts of cruelty we urge you to contact the authorities immediately and do your share as part of the community.
