Yesterday we wrote about a horrible story of a dog got shot in Fujairah and we wanted to share the latest updates on Chance as Animals & Us Fujairah are still waiting to hear from the vet

These x rays are from yesterday and he will be properly re-examined today, now we hope he has stabilized and is in less pain.
Our main concern is the bullet and bullet fragments that are currently lodged around the spine. We will do another x-ray today to understand fully the impact, if they can be removed and also x-ray the legs where two more bullets are potentially lodged
Animals & Us Fujairah
We have woken up today with aching hearts, full of despair and sadness for the world these animals live in. How many times does this happen and we just never know? We can’t bare to think… because we just don’t know how we will keep going
According to eyewitnesses, the dog, who was known to frequently sit outside the shop, was approached by an individual who got out of their car, shot the innocent animal four times at point-blank range, and then drove away without a second thought
To proactively seek out a poor, friendly, defenseless animal, walk up to them., look them in the eye… and shoot them 4 times. These people are not human, they are monsters.
We know, no matter how hard it is or how much we feel like giving up because it all feels too much and hopeless, that we must keep going.
For Chance and for all of those poor street dogs out there that go through unknown and horrific suffering every day. We have to get them off the streets. We have to let them not live in fear. We have to seek justice
