Get ready for a tail-wagging good time! In Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), a community of furry friends is coming together for a delightful 1.5km stroll with Niall Harbison. The walk is a collaboration with Lovin’ Dubai and will take place around Lake D in Cluster X.
Originally hailing from Dublin, Niall Harbison made a life-altering decision to move to Thailand after selling his successful marketing and PR company. What followed was a journey of compassion, resilience, and a profound impact on the lives of thousands of furry friends.
Niall’s path towards becoming a savior for street dogs was born out of personal struggles and a desire for change. After overcoming alcoholism and depression, he embarked on a new chapter in Thailand, a land teeming with stray dogs desperately in need of help. Witnessing their suffering ignited a fire within Niall, propelling him to take action and make a difference.

Since its inception, Happy Dog Rescue, founded by Niall, has achieved remarkable milestones, having successfully saved over 10,000 dogs. What you need to know:
- Are dogs allowed off-leash? No, for the safety of all dogs and participants, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times during the walk.
- Do I need to carry waste bags? Yes, walkers must carry waste bags and clean up after their dogs if the situation arises.
- What’s the route of the walk? The community dog walk will follow a 1.5km route around Lake D, Cluster X.
- What time should I arrive? The walk will start at 7:30 AM, so please arrive at 7:15 AM to the designated meeting point.
- Is registration required? Yes, registrations are encouraged beforehand to ensure the event does not go over capacity.
- What should I bring for the event? Be sure to bring your own water and snacks for yourselves and your pets. Waste bags and leads are also required, and we kindly request that you clean up after your dogs to help keep our community clean.
- Parking: Free parking will be available for those joining us in parking areas in Cluster X.
