Yes, the summer is coming to an end. But we’re not there yet.
We have yet another recommendation by the lovely Yvonne from Doggie Adventures in Dubai of a new place to visit for the pet parents out there. Here’s what she has to say about Ivy’s Secret Garden….
I still have a hard time when I’m outside. Especially when it’s humid! And that means my dog of 14 years old must struggle at least as much as I do. That’s why we still don’t spend too much time outdoors and prefer to stay in the AC.
And as you know, that doesn’t mean that we stay at home – instead, we visit one of the indoor dog friendly places that you can find in Dubai.
I’m sure you’ve all explored a few indoor dog friendly restaurants and cafes already this summer.
One of my new favorites is Ivy’s Secret Garden.
Ivy’s Secret Garden was born from an irrefutable plant obsession and an affinity for bringing joy into the lives of others. Early on they sold their “living home décor” online and transformed their client’s space with a vivid splash of verdure.
However, recently they opened the doors to a posh, new storefront to provide even more for the community.
Their warehouse is dog friendly and apart from the plants they sell, they also have a café that serves delicious coffee and bites. They serve homemade cakes that are just to die for.
Not a coffee lover? They also serve other drinks like milkshakes, frappe’s, and (non-alcoholic) mojitos. They also organize a lot of workshops that make a fun day out. Just follow their page to see their calendar of what is happening.
When you visit Ivy’s Secret Garden, it will be likely that you’ll bump into Ivy & Robert, the founders of Ivy’s Secret Garden. There’s a big chance they will come and say hi to not only you but of course also your dog as well, or they will introduce you to one of the community cats that hang around in this serene space.
Sit back, relax and enjoy your time in this indoor garden. I’m sure you and your pooch will have a fun time out of the house.
