Tell us the story of Groot and why did you adopt him?
Having adopted Groot last June 2019. Everything has just been livelier since.
Aleef was an app I often browsed. But, having come across Groot, I guess that’s what they call love at first sight. Unexpected, but YES! It was. And then on, I knew I just had to get him home.
Requesting for that adoption was a real nerve-wracking moment. But after patiently waiting for a few days, I got that call! (Of course, it was with a lot of wondering and pacing back and forth and around all the four corners of the house and office)
Hurriedly I prepared all the documents. I couldn’t explain the excitement of meeting him.
Since day one, the connection was real. He was a blessing in disguise, and all I felt was love for him!
What has changed since adopting Groot?
There were a lot of adjustments in the beginning. And yes, I already knew that a lifestyle change would be much needed.
Now, more than ever, I’m always excited to go home and love getting on that browser looking for new kinds of stuff for Groot.
Although he has been more attached to my parents, sleep time will always be snuggle time.
As the pandemic hit last year, we got to spend more time together, and I couldn’t ask for any better support than him through those tough times.
