Abused Stray Dog Adopted by Sheikha Latifa bin Ahmed

Setting an example for the nation, the princess is caring for a mixed-breed stray dog that has been through a lot – from being abandoned, beaten and overbred.

Stray Dog Rescue

A dog named Midnight has been taken in by Bubbles Pet Rescue after being spotted on the streets with her puppies for almost two years – wherein the dog was apparently abandoned by it’s owners after breeding and selling off her puppies to make money.

As Midnight has always had a home – she stayed outside the house for nearly two years, hiding under the trees for shade, scavenging around for food and with kind hearted people giving her food from time to time.

After being rescued and initially going in for her spay procedure, the vets found a tumour on her ovaries which required a complicated operation and needed time to heal.

Adopting Midnight

And just when her time at foster home was nearly up, and only the kennels waiting for her, Sheikha Latifa came to her rescue wherein she is now under the care of the royal princess, giving her all the training and love that she deserves.

“This is a dream come true for Midnight, To be heard, to be seen, to be loved and to be wanted!
They say if you dream a thing more than once, it’s sure to come true..

God has given her the opportunity to end up under care of such loving people, Under the care of our leaders.
It’s one thing to be a Princess of a nation but another to be so humble and kind.
A Princess with a heart of Gold❤️

As the rulers are stepping up to do their share and help out these stray dogs – we should too! Even just being a foster parent helps these shelters and pet rescuers in a lot of ways, with very limited resources at their reach.
