A New Dog Park in Abu Dhabi – Explore Al Masar Park

A New Dog Park in Abu Dhabi in Khalifa City, Al Masar Park, has officially opened its doors to the public, and among its many features is a dedicated dog park.

Spanning 14,000 square metres, the park offers modern facilities including playgrounds, trampolines, beach volleyball, badminton and basketball courts, a BMX cycle track, a 2.1km jogging track, two ziplines, and of course, a place for our furry friends to play and exercise.

Al Masar Park

The dog park at Al Masar Park is a welcome addition to Abu Dhabi’s green spaces, which already boasts beautiful parks like Sheikha Fatima Park, Umm Al Emarat Park, Khalifa Park, Corniche Parks, Mangrove National Park, and Jubail Mangrove Park.

The park was designed to meet the highest quality standards and provide an exceptional experience for visitors.

To create an urban oasis, Al Masar Park was landscaped with 2,841 trees, 58,000 shrubs, and a large number of ground-cover plants.

The park is in line with Abu Dhabi’s sustainable development goals and urban development initiatives, adding another green space to the city.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior officials, including H.E. Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport.

For the convenience of visitors, Al Masar Park offers 97 parking bays. The park’s opening is part of the DTI’s efforts to develop green spaces and enhance the quality of life in Abu Dhabi.
