With the previous case of the Husky that was left out in the heat for apparently more than 24 hours – Dubai municipality has put together a committee to investigate the Husky’s case.

As the summer heat is barely bearable for humans, how else would these poor dogs have felt being left outside with no proper water or shade?

According to Dr. Fatimah Salah Al Ali, a veterinarian at Dubai Municipality’ – Veterinary Services Section, that is in charge of the case, said the municipality had to get in touch with the Dubai Police as initial reports said the owner was in the house during the time but was not responding!

“But there was none at home and our team had to wait for about four hours for the family to return. We questioned the owner and she surrendered the dog.”

Luckily the poor Husky is now at the municipality’s shelter, and is doing fine with no signs of heat strokes, but still awaiting results for viral diseases.

“No creature should be left in this heat,” stated Dr. Fatimah Salah Al Ali

As pet owners, it is our responsibility to provide a clean environment, healthy food and proper care – these are the basic responsibilities that we have as soon as we decided to have a pet.

“If you have a pet, you need to treat it like your family member, nothing else. This is like your child.” stated Dr. Fatimah Salah Al Ali
