A Heartbreaking Rescue: 18 Dogs and Cat Rescued from Ajman Puppy Mill
Friday was a big rescue day for Amanda’s Animal Rescue as they undertook a daunting rescue mission, saving 18 dogs and a cat from the deplorable conditions of a puppy mill in Ajman.
The images captured at the scene reveal the stark reality behind the walls of such facilities, highlighting the urgent need for action to end this inhumane practice.
When the rescue team got to the puppy mill, they were shocked. The animals were kept in small metal cages without any comfort, barely able to move around. It was clear they weren’t getting proper care. They found 16 female dogs there, showing how these poor animals were being bred over and over again.
They were 35 dogs in this place. We took 13 retrievers, 3 mortified black labs, 1 malamute and 1 senior beagle. All their beautiful eyes were lost and confused, they clearly don’t know what freedom feels like.

This sad event reminds us how important it is to adopt pets instead of buying them. It shows the dark side of the pet trade, where animals suffer just so people can make money.
Buying pets from shops keeps this cycle of cruelty going, as it supports the demand for animals bred in awful conditions. As animal rights supporters, it’s up to us to teach others about the problems with buying pets and to back trustworthy rescue groups like Amanda’s Animal Rescue.

After this rescue, Amanda’s Animal Rescue is dedicated to giving the rescued animals all the care they need. They’ll get veterinary checks, grooming, and microchips to keep them healthy. But their journey to getting better doesn’t stop there – the rescue is looking for foster homes and forever families to give these animals the love and care they deserve.
